Ch. Aijalon's Keren-Happuch, F.Ch.
Keri is a sweet, petite (24-1/2") grizzle girl who followed closely behind her brother, Levi, in finishing both her titles. On the lure coursing field, she was often eclipsed by her cream brothers, as well as that grizzle dog, "Irish", to whom she was bred in 1991. Keri made some terrific memories for me in the show ring. In 1989, she reserved at two specialties (the National & Empire) a month apart, before finishing with a fourth major just two weeks later. She was rarely specialed, which I now regret. One of her few appearances as a champion was in Coursing Bitches at the 1990 National, where she was awarded first place, and another was the 1990 Empire Specialty, where she was one of two bitches remaining in the final cut. She still loves head rubs, and still greets visitors she knows with an all-over body wiggle and rosed back ears. Visitors she doesn't know are greeted with the deep, watchdog bark of a dog three times her size. She's the mother of Zoe, who shares a page with her littermates.
Aliases: Keri-Bear, Bearsy-Boo, Bear-Bear, Silly Ol' Bear
