Sheba & Kids

Ch. Hiswill's Sheba Kedar, littermate to my Sandy, was leased for my second litter. She came to live at Aijalon for several months and quickly endeared herself to me with her sweet, unassuming nature and eagerness to please. Sheba was a petite tri-color bitch, quite different from her sister, Sandy, who was cream and fairly tall.

Sheba produced six black/tan (tri-color) pups on 5/3/89, one bitch and five dogs. One little boy died very young, and three went home with Sheba to their co-breeder. Both boys carrying the Aijalon prefix became AKC champions, beloved companions and have sired a litter each.

Sheba's Kids

Ch. Aijalon Ibhar Micah was mine for 7-1/2 years. Because of his devotion to me, I made the mistake of thinking he could never be happy with anyone else, despite his apparent discomfort at being low dog in the Aijalon pack, including males younger than himself. When an opportunity arose to give Micah a trial visit with someone I knew and trusted, we gave it a try. He didn't adjust overnight, but he did take to the gentle, quiet manner of his new family much more quickly than I had imagined. Being an only dog, and getting all the attention, was what Micah had always wanted. He has been happier and more relaxed in the past three years than ever before, and I'm happy knowing that he's in the best place he could be.
